Travel Information

Dublin City is very easy to reach by Air, Train and Coach.

Air
Dublin is served by one airport - Dublin International Airport , on the city's North Side. Cheap airlines to Dublin include Aerlingus and Ryanair, though many other airlines offer good deals to Dublin or some of the other airports in Ireland. For further information on Dublin Airport and Flights please visit Aer Rianta. There are frequent connecting buses to the city centre, including a special shuttle service which brings passengers directly to Busáras (the Central Bus Station at Amiens St.). There is also a plentiful supply of taxis.

Train
Dublin is served by two main railway stations: Connolly Station and Heuston Station. From Connolly Station it is a short walk to O'Connell Street from where the numbers 3, 10, 11B busses can be boarded. There are frequent connecting services from Heuston to the city centre. For further information please visit Iarnróad Eireann (Irish Rail).

Coach
Bus Éireann provides a nationwide bus service throughout Ireland with most major areas having a regular link to Dublin. The majority of Dublin services terminate in Busáras (Central Bus Station) from where it is a short walk to O'Connell Street for connecting buses to UCD. Bus Éireann operates two free daily shuttle services from Belfield to Busáras. These services operate daily to Busáras, departing Belfield at 16.15 and 16.30 (Mon-Fri) during the college term and are available for holders of valid Bus Éireann tickets only. In addition to this, several services from the Greater Dublin area actually serve Belfield direct. For further information please visit www.buseireann.ie
